"After becoming familiar with your products, I have complete confidence in your pump station controllers (TCU's).... Storm situations can be monitored and dispatched (if needed) from a single location. Mechanics can perform small system shutdowns without needing assistance from site attendants. The only regret I have is that our entire system is not utilizing a TCU. We currently have 200 installed and are hoping to complete our system over the next few years. Thanks for the products, technical support and all the kind, knowledgeable staff at DFS."
~ Darryl Gibson, Computer Programmer II, Pasco County, FL
"Data Flow makes a great product. It is very durable and easy to work with. They offer training and are always there when you need them.... We now have Data Flow written into our construction specifications. All new lift stations and Water Plant will have Data Flow equipment and controls."
~ Larry Cooper, Electrical/Mechanical Supervisor, Hernando County, FL
"Following our recent Storm Water Pump station upgrade, we encountered trouble with the installation of level transducers that were not functioning properly. The problem appeared to have been an oversight by the contractor and project engineers. I reached out to DFS service technician, James MacArthur, who corrected the issues that we were faced with. Every time Spring Lake Improvement District staff is faced with a problem, ALL DFS staff comes through efficiently and effectively with a solution – Heidi Massey, Fred Toone, Mike Weaver, Mike Barmash and Tom Hogeland, to name a few. I can’t begin to think of how many times I have called for help and the problem is solved. In this case, thank you, James, for your professional diligence and knowledge in solving our dilemma."
~ Clay Shrum, Director of Operations, Spring Lake Improvement District
"We started to realize their professionalism early on in our discussions with representatives of DFS. We never felt pressured and DFS produced... free of charge... a high quality report showing how they would save our district money while automating our lift stations at the same time. We have been using the DFS system since January 2012 and we are very satisfied. Every claim they made has been backed up by their actions or their product. And speaking of the company's actions, we have to state that each employee we have had the pleasure of working with has been knowledgeable, courteous, responsive, and professional. As a water and wastewater processing utility serving approximately 45,000 residents, we are challenged by rising costs, performance standards, and quality issues almost daily. DFS has made part of our job easier and we are glad they were chosen to partner with us."
~ Dan Daly, Director of Operations, Coral Springs Improvement District
"We use DFS for a number of reasons. Cost, simplicity, ease of monitoring via the web, history, trends, reliability, avoiding spills, and attaining our #1 goal, KEEPING THE PUBLIC SAFE. With assistance of DFS, Manatee County has embraced the technology age of the twenty first century. The DFS owners, supervisors, staff, and employees are like a family with one goal, to support their customers with the best product available. DFS = exceptionally talented people developing and selling the best hardware and software available in the industry."
~ Pat Logsdon, Sr. Industrial Electrician, Manatee County
"Bonita Springs Utilities' long-standing partnership with DFS has given us the tools we need to effectively monitor and control our 350 lift stations and well sites. By rolling out TCUs equipped with high speed radios and communicating via the new DFS protocol, our system polling time has been reduced by about two-thirds. And Data Flow's technical support team is always there, ready to assist by phone or on site."
~ Dave Kemp, Maintenance Technician IV, Bonita Springs Utilities, Inc.
"My name is Wm. Nollie Parrish. I am the Lead Electrician for the City Of Winter Park, and I have worked with the DFS telemetry system for 13 years. I just wanted to say a few words about the new Symphony program that Data Flow Systems has to offer that will make our LIFE in the work place a little better. First of all I am very proud to have been a part of Symphony from the beginning. It took a lot of hard work at first to get everything in the proper places, and I have to say it was well worth the wait and process. The savings that I have experienced in many ways is just amazing. Here are just a few things that have made a big difference in the daily operations not only with my job but the lift station operators as well. (1) The pump run times have decreased by 34%. (2) The pump maintenance expenses have almost disappeared. (3) Our power consumption has decreased by over 40% per year. (4) The number of call outs per month have been cut in half."
~ Wm. Nollie Parrish, Lead Electrician, City of Winter Park
"Coral Gables has used DFS for more than fifteen years with great success.... Coral Gables looked at many different systems before settling on DFS. We wanted something cost efficient and reliable. With DFS we got both.... I can say it is probably the best investment one can make to improve one's system."
~ Rich Kerrick, Utilities Senior Foreman, Coral Gables, FL
"Indian River County has been working with Data Flow Systems since 1990 and we have over 300 Data Flow units, covering all of our lift stations and wastewater/reuse system. We are very pleased with the product and service they provide. The Data Flow System has been incorporated into our construction specifications for lift stations & reuse sites."
~ Terry Southard, Operations Manager, Indian River County Utilities Division
"Having a company located in state with the dedication that Data Flow has is priceless. One example of this is when lighting hit our #2 Water Plant directly on a Friday afternoon.... We made one phone call to DFS and they loaded up a van in Melbourne, drove three hours, installed a new back plane and replaced all the components and we had our plant back up and running the same day. I do not know of any company that can match that type of service."
~ John Mandrick, PE, Utilities Director, City of Fernandina Beach
"Manatee County Utilities continues to grow at a rapid rate requiring technology, equipment and expertise to run, monitor and maintain 620 satellite lift stations and 15 master lift stations throughout the county. We rely on Data Flow Systems to help us design and maintain the ever-changing environment. By installing Data Flow’s new TCU/VFD at our master lift stations we have lowered programming time, giving us the ability to change parameters on-site without rewriting ladder logic. Beyond the software available, Data Flow’s training has produced three TCU/VFD Technicians and one Master Technician, ensuring qualified staff to assist in keeping the county running. Having Data Flow’s engineering and support team available to assist with issues 24/7 is the icing on the cake."
~ Ralph Braun, Senior Industrial Electrician, Lift Station Section, Manatee County Utilities Department
"I have been a Data Flow user for 9 years.... The first year the City saved $60,000 in overtime costs with no lift station SSO's. Data Flow is an excellent SCADA system and I would recommend it to anyone."
~ Larry Johnson, Lift Station Manager, City of Largo, FL

"I just wanted to take a minute and thank you for the great product and support that your company supplies to Holley Navarre Water System, its employees and customers. I have been an Operator and Manager here for 25 years and I don't know how we got along without a SCADA system as long as we did. We installed Data Flow Systems approximately 10 years ago and have never looked back."
~ Paul Gardener, Operations Manager, Holley-Navarre Water System, Inc.
"I wanted to take a moment and extend my appreciation to You, your Staff and Company. The manner in which your Company performed the installation and integration of the new Fresh Water Telemetry Project here at CCI Tehachapi is of the utmost professionalism and integrity. The system is humming along beautifully and CCI and myself are extremely happy with the results, and performance. Please extend our thanks once again to your crew, who worked here at CCI Tehachapi.
~ Darren Plumlee, Chief Engineer 1, California Correctional Institution (CCI)
"Data Flow Systems has been serving the City's Utility SCADA needs since 2009. Beginning with a pilot installation at a remotely located lift station and ultimately growing to 20 lift stations, 10 booster pump stations, and 2 elevated storage tanks. The City recently embarked in a seven year, 70 million dollar capital investment in water system improvements. Funding and design began in 2010 with construction of multiple facilities occurring through 2017. These critical water system facilities included five booster pump/ground storage sites, one elevate storage tank, five wells, and multiple water line improvements. DFS was instrumental in the successful program design and integration of these facilities. DFS has performed as promised over the years and provided a reliable end user friendly SCADA system that continues to serve our system with extreme confidence."
~ Jody Hooks, PW Field Operations Manager, City of League City, TX
"The addition of HT3 Mobile has allowed us to reduce the number of hours that DEP requires onsite presence at our water plants. This also improved our overall efficiency by increasing the time our personnel can work in other areas. HT3 Mobile allows us to be aware of every facet of our operation, 24 hours a day no matter where we are, so we can respond appropriately to any abnormal condition or alarm. For us, HT3 Mobile has been a win‐win situation!"
~ Richard Kornbluh, Utilities Manager, City of Longwood, Florida
